Describe the range of Black and Brown communities living in the UK according to population census figures.
Identify the developmental needs of Black and Brown children in relation to their race, culture, religion, identity and language.
Identify the process of discrimination, the cycle of oppression and the effects of institutional racism on Black and Brown children and families.
Explain the concept of an anti-racist approach and its implications for practice.
Use messages from research and Serious Case Reviews to inform best practice.
Describe interventions that empower and safeguard Black and Brown children and their families
Address practice issues, identify good practice and formulate action plans.
